Hi Libtech
I wanted to alert everyone to a really great opportunity to do some research around information controls at the Citizen Lab or one of several other host organizations. It's the Information Controls Fellowship Program sponsored by the great people at OTF. Details about the program can be found here:
https://www.opentechfund.org/fellowships/icfp
The great part is that there are two different levels of fellows: seasonal (for the summer) and senior (for a year). We welcome applications from people who have skills in computer science, engineering, social sciences, law -- whatever. As long as you have a project that appeals to a host organization and fits in the general area of the program, your application would be given serious attention.
It is a great way to join and connect with a growing research community around information controls research.
Cheers
Ron
