[liberationtech] OTR via jabber.ccc.de (and TOR?)

Hi everyone,

My first post here. I really enjoy reading this list!

Since the jabber.ccc.de privacy page http://web.jabber.ccc.de/?page_id=5 is
in German, I can't read most of it. I don't want to rely on Google
Translate for this!

If I plan to use OTR via the jabber.ccc.de server and want to remain
pseudonymous, what should I know about the storage of user information (not
counting storage on my local machine)? In this case the IM content would be
encrypted via OTR, but there is other information as well, such as,
particularly, the user's IP address.

Finally, a Google search for "pidgin site:torproject.org" turns up a lot of
bug reports. Does Pidgin work well with TOR or not?
