[liberationtech] OTR via jabber.ccc.de (and TOR?)

There is information about your contacts or offline (cached) messages and
if you initiate transfers between each other directly. Data that isn't
required for the actual use isn't logged, the statistics gathered otherwise
anonymous but you can ask more details at the Twitter (
https://twitter.com/#!/jabbercccde). The Twitter also has more information,
the Tor hidden service address, and they respond to questions there often
when they were asked.

And I guess the best way I can answer the Pidgin question is that it's
more-or-less the best overall option in this combination w/ Tor/SOCKS/I2P
.. it's not always pretty but nothing better has come to ~my~ attention.
