I am embarrassed for two reasons:
1. I initially welcomed her "No Disconnect" project (when she announced
it 1/2 year ago) and expected it to become a serious opportunity
(without such risk taking).
2. As a Euro-Federalist I am concerned about the recent anti-EU
sentiment. Just watch the press conference or the massive negative
reactions on her blog:

Rhetorics is getting very shrill and odd in Brussel affairs, e.g. pro-EU
advocacy groups may sound as over-the-top as radical eurosceptics.

Zu Guttenberg's appointment could as well be an element of the present
EC bullying against the Merkel government, and their alleged attempts of
a "Merkozy" "directoire" or a "Groupe de Francfort" taking over the
EU. Or the exactly the opposite.
In a state of EU institutional turmoil and desorientation I feel
reminded of P. Scheidemann's Proclamation of the German Republic Nov
1918: "Ruhe, Ordnung und Sicherheit ist das, was wir jetzt brauchen!"
(Silence,Order and Security is what we now ought to seek!). A quite
ironic German approach of revolutionary stoicism!
