Yes, especially since the AV provider takes on the risks of running the AV software.
Be aware that you are telling the cloud AV provider what documents you read. You have to trade off the good of learning about attacks against the good of keeping your files and communications private from the AV provider. I can't recommend a generally-applicable heuristic for how to make that call.
