[liberationtech] Aung San Suu Kyi and New(ish) Media Technology

Nice to be armchair witnessing images, audio and video footage of the
latest release of Aung San Suu Kyi and the how illuminated screens of
mobile phone be held aloft, just like the protest candles of the past.
No doubt media like the BBC are using Satellite connections to share the
media and of course all of those local and foreign journalists and
activists taking risks to get the story out. Hopefully live pictures and
audio will come from the press conference that might take place
tomorrow.
