♥‿♥ Save the Date for IFF 2020  ♥‿♥
Mark your calendars friends!!! The 6th edition of the IFF will take
place on April 20 to 24, 2020. Stay tuned for new formats and fun
surprises.


*** Second Week of Sudan Internet Blackout  ***
The Sudanese authorities have extended an internet blackout into a
second week, forcing citizens in Khartoum to find new ways to
communicate and mobilize. On Monday, line internet services for most
offices and houses were cut, after mobile mobile internet was switched
off by Sudan’s network operators, plunging the country into near
complete data darkness.

*** Apply to the MJ Bear Fellowship for Digital Journalists ***
The Online News Association is looking for six individuals from around
the world for its MJ Bear Fellowship. Applicants must be up-and-coming
journalists, be under the age of 30, and be leading innovative digital
journalism projects. Apply before  July 1.

*** Kickstarter Launched for Sequel of “Nothing to Hide” Doc ***
“Nothing to Hide” documentary production team has launched a Kickstarter
campaign for its sequel. “Disappear - cover your online tracks, will
question digital self-defense and the means to take back control of our
online privacy.
