We've been saying for years in the Fediverse that if you really need privacy for something
you're discussing, the last thing you want to do is post it in any way, shape, or form to
a network of nodes scattered around the world.  Please take it off fedi to something designed
for that use case, like Signal.  Socnets have never been the ideal communications medium for
things of that sensitivity.

That said, actually reading someone's DMs is a terrible pain, and really only folks getting
paid to do so would have to suffer through that process.
