[liberationtech] BlueJeans claims to offer secure video conferencing. Is that true?

anyone here who knows about or better even has experience with BigBlueButton?

just stumbled on it, is open source and says one can install and host it on own server, … so I wonder why I didn’t read or hear about it before …
