As a matter of fact I got a kind of same problem, I have a gmail address
linking to a generic name for a pharmacy, since years I am receiving
emails but thought this was spams, until I got contacted recently by a
pharmacy who by mistake sent this address to plenty of people and
medics, given the covid situation the pharmacy asked me to forward the
emails, which I did, then I contacted the gmail team at Google to
transfer the mail to the pharmacy, I have the pwd but Google does not
allow me to connect to the account (unrecognized device, etc), and I
don't have the recovery code set by one of my employee before
Gmail team did reply but said they could not do anything to recover the
account, and now the problem has amplified, receiving emails for 3
pharmacies of the same name... then still forwarding the emails...
Let's hope Yahoo can fix this one, I send you separately a contact email
at Yahoo that should work and be able to relay the message
