[liberationtech] Threat Information Sharing Resources for RightsCon Working Session

Hello All,

I will be leading a working session at the upcoming RightsCon [
http://sched.co/6QMU ] where we will be identifying, evaluating, sorting
and publicly sharing information sources for tracking human rights,
Internet freedom, and digital security intelligence and incidents around
the world. I am doing this because I believe that in order for human rights
defenders and advocates to maintain their agility they need access to the
wealth of data, analysis, and intelligence that is created throughout our
community. But, much of this knowledge is trapped in a opaque collection of
websites, reports, mailing lists, and wikis that are rarely shared widely
enough to ensure that they can be found when needed.

In order for this to be successfully we will need to source as many
resources as possible ahead of time. If you have organizations, mailing
lists, websites, wikis, news feeds, data sets, etc. that you use to get up
to date information or analysis about human rights & Internet freedom
issues and incidents you can add your resource to the list using this form.

Better information sharing reduces the ongoing costs of duplicating
research and supports more informed advocacy across our issues. So, submit
resources in any language and at all levels of granularity. If you work for
an organization that does analysis, add your organization. If you subscribe
to a public mailing list that tracks human rights or Internet freedom
policies in your region, add that mailing list. If you have found insight
from the public reports by some obscure government or industry working
group, add that as well. We can't predict what obscure resource may hold
the valuable insight that an ally needs to effectively conduct their work.

Rights Con Silicone Valley on Thursday, March 31 between 5:15pm - 6:15pm.
