Global Voices' Advox list has been having a frenzied conversation about
Reporta along similar lines. A few of us are thinking of doing a report
card-style piece that would compare 4 or 5 such apps that are intended to
help people do digital/mobile journalism in a secure fashion. Thinking of
looking at apps like Reporta, StoryMaker, Vojo, perhaps some video-focused
ones too.
Super important for communities like ours in particular, where many
contributors use mobile and are interested in these tools, but often have
little savvy when it comes to security issues.
Would anyone like to help with this? Would be great to have 2 or 3 peeps
who know apps like these fairly well. Send me a note off-list if you're
interested!
