Maybe the project can take a look at Via'AGRI [1] (note: we have an
agreement with Pfizer regarding the name), an app (started in 2006) of
us for farmers (agri & wine), working on any device since it's a web
app, but running locally and looking like a native app for smartphones
(connected to the farmers' PCs), still up, running and getting users
days after days, the look of the user interface has been updated
compared to the tutorials on the site, initially designed to comply with
the EU rules (CAP) it is modular to adapt to any use.
It's in French but can be translated easily, people from French speaking
countries are using it all over the world, including Africa where we get
a big part of the demands, there is a free version limited to one parcel
and the "unlimited in time including updates" license's price is very
low (149 E), at least for France, this can be adapted, the cartography
module (while great) is not available any longer due to Google policy
and the fact that French farmers don't care since they are using the
government site, and that almost nobody is requesting it.
