Tralance Addy, first Executive Director of SEED (the Stanford Institute for
Innovation in Developing Economies) is visiting us on Tuesday, May 7th,
5:30pm at Crothers CroMem Lounge.

Born in Ghana, Addy earned a Ph.D. in engineering from the University of
Massachusetts at Amherst. He was International Vice President at Johnson
and Johnson; Vice President of R&D for Johnson and Johnson Medical, Inc.;
President and CEO of WaterHealth International, Inc., which provides
affordable potable water to rural and urban communities in developing
countries; and chief executive of Plebys International LLC, a company
stimulating enterprise development in underserved markets worldwide.
Dr. Addy will speak about his varied career and about his current work at
Stanford, engaging the School of Business and other parts of the university
in supporting entrepreneurial activity in developing countries.
