Here are my random three thoughts on a sunday night.

Sort of disingenious to just list this as 'advertising', given between
adwords , doubleclick, and their other other ad network purchases google
sees something like 88% of the traffic across the top 100 sies (as ranged

: Consumers are asked to trade convenience for personal information privacy
: all the time. The question, though, is how knowingly we are doing so. When
If the product is free, you are the product, not the customer.
On a larger level, I think we're moving into a world where the collection
of data should be assumed. The control of that data after it is collected
is what matters most to people. Think of trying to swim in the ocean
without getting wet. In your daily life, you swim through networks and
leave a huge trail of data bits everywhere you go.
