Hello Tarik,
Sounds like an interesting research. I'm not sure if this is what you're
looking for, but in The Netherlands we had a participatory campaign
initiated by the government to engage youngsters in the MDGs and to promote
the governments activities (in 2009). It was a package of online action and
nation wide events. They created a digital 'Millennium Train' with the aim
for young people to 'get on board' and show their support and educate
themselves. I checked some sources but the website is not online anymore (
www.milleniumtour2009.nl) and other sources are all in Dutch. Do let me
know if you are interested in further information and what kind of
information you are looking for..
In line of my work as a communication trainer for governments of developing
countries I'm sure I can find many more examples, but I'll need to check
some of the material..
Best regards,
Rieneke Van Santen
