[liberationtech] BREAKING NEWS: China activists start Jasmine revolution

Diaspora's relation to on-the-ground activism seems to be
a reoccurring question in this area, at least in terms of efficacy. I think
we've seen a couple instances where their participation meaningfully
affected outcomes (Romania 2009) or drove a media narrative (Iran's Green
Movement). I'm curious if the list has any suggestions on literature about
diaspora and politicking from a distance.
