The Freedom Box wiki (http://wiki.debian.org/FreedomBox) is scant on details
and there are no files released on Alioth yet (
https://alioth.debian.org/projects/freedombox/). It looks like there are
images you can install here though: http://pagekite.net/community/DebianFB/
.
I've seen at least a dozen related or similar project ideas proposed over
the last 15 years. Most are stalled or abandoned, and none have gained any
significant traction. I'm skeptical about Freedom Box's approach in general,
but it is too early to pass judgement.
