[liberationtech] Voteable

[Yosem Companys]

On December 29th, a guy named Galen Sanford and a friend founded a
project called Voteable (http://voteable.net). Their goal is to
empower common people who wish to run for local office.  Over the past
week they've grown to nine volunteers.  I don't really know much about
where they are planning to go with this, but it may be an interesting
project to keep an eye on.
