Hi all,
Thanks again for a great discussion yesterday in the session and on the list! From both discussions (and some 1:1 convos) I drew the following conclusions:
1. We will not have a summer break (or in the words of Thomas: "this reading group already feels like vacation")
2. I have invited Wendy Hall and Kieren O'Hara to come talk to us at June 1 (offered them June 15 as back up date), will let you know when I hear back
3. We decided as next books to read 'the Closed World' and 'Technologies of Speculation'
4. I really liked the idea of reading Balkan Cyberia, but I think we cannot do that without reading Benjamin Peters' 'How Not to Network a Nation', so I tentatively put that in our calendar as well. PDFs of the first three books are attached (also linked from the webpage [0]), Balkan Cyberia will only be published in June, but I ordered it already.
