*** New Monthly Newsletter Elevates African Female Experts ***

This year, Ejcnet launched “Interruptrr Africa”, a monthly newsletter
that highlights female expertise on Africa. Marjan Tillmans talked with
the women behind the project to learn about their experience of
amplifying female voices in media.

*** Sifting Truth from Lies in the Age of Fake News ***

DRF has just released a new study attempting to identify topics that are
more susceptible to fake news, and common methods of dissemination. It
also examines the extent
of fact-checking practiced in Pakistan’s newsrooms and how often do
journalists believe fake news to be true.
