*** Record Number of Peaceful Protesters Detained in Moscow ***
Moscow police set an ominous record on July 27, 2019 by arbitrarily
detaining at least 1,373 people, including about 25 children, during
peaceful protests. The police used excessive force at the demonstrations
over the exclusion of opposition candidates from upcoming city assembly
elections to break up peaceful protesters and to detain them.

*** Ad.watch Helps People Understand How Political Ads and Personal Data
is Used During Campaigns ***
Ad.Watch is a project that compiles datasets of political ads of over
150 major political actors in 34 countries, and provides interfaces that
can be used by journalists and citizens to systematically examine
political advertising on the biggest social media companies, Facebook
and Instagram.

*** Help Localization Lab with the translation of Enigmail 2.1 ***
Localization Lab is looking for folks that can help translatetranslating
the version of Enigmail 2.1, specifically in Spanish or Portuguese
(Brazil).
