We have extended the IFF Fellowship application to August 27. This is a
great opportunity for individuals interested in strengthening their
local communities, learning from other community builders throughout the

*** Facebook Hired Outside Group to Investigate its Role in Spreading
Hate Speech in Myanmar ***

Facebook is conducting a human rights audit in Myanmar to assess its
role in enabling ethnic violence and hate speech against its Rohingya
Muslim minority.

*** President Sisi Tightens Control Over Internet***

Egypt’s President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi ratified a new law on Saturday to
tighten control over the internet in the country, as reported by the
Egyptian Gazette.
