Dear friends,

We hope you have a great week planned! We just wrapped up the fellowship
applications and have a quick overview of who we are and our future
plans coming your way!

Here are the updates for July 3 - 7:

### News and Updates ###

***2018 IFF Fellowship Application now Closed!***

Thanks so much for getting the word out about the 2018 Fellowship
Program! The response was amazing, with applications that include more
communities than ever before. Applications are now closed and we’ll be
keeping you informed of our progress and acceptance process in the
coming weeks.

***Summary of the first IFF Mattermost AMA***

“Thank you to all who attended and contributed to the Localization Lab’s
inaugural Mattermost Ask Me Anything with the Tor Project! The event was
a great success thanks to your insightful questions and the broad range
of talent that the Tor Project brought to the discussion!

Want to see more AMAs with Localization Lab supported projects? Let us
know who you would like to see an AMA for or if you are a project that
would like to participate.”

### Community Stories ###

*** We’re not a Conference ***

Did you know that IFF is more than just an event? It’s also a platform
with numerous initiatives and tools, designed to help the communities we
serve fulfill their specific goals and needs. Most people can name a few
of our resources, but the full scope of what we offer continues to
surprise even the most seasoned community member. Just as the festival
grows and evolves, the IFF platform continues to diversify what it offers.
