### **UPDATE: Session Approvals & Travel Grants*** *###*
*This week, we wanted to share first an important status update for
everyone on the following:

*+ Session Approvals:*
*All presenters* have been sent notification emails indicating which of
their sessions have been approved, in addition to a follow-up email with
next steps. If you have **not** received these emails, then your session
submissions were not approved for the final program.

*+ Travel Grants:
*As of now, we have awarded *all currently available funds* for IFF
travel grants.**If you were notified that you were on the waiting list,
but have not received an email stating that you have been awarded a
travel grant, we will not be able to provide one *unless additional
funding becomes available.**

**FOSSDEM 2017*
*When: February 4 - 5
Where: Brussels, Belgium

FOSDEM is a two-day event organised by volunteers to promote the
widespread use of free and open source software. A free and
non-commercial event organised by the community for the community, the
goal is to provide free and open source software developers and
communities a place to meet to get in touch with other developers and
projects, and be informed about the latest developments in the open
source & free software worlds.
