We’re delighted to be sharing some awesome news with you all today!

****Announcing the 2017 IFF Fellows!*****
As an event created for this community, by this community, theInternet
Freedom Festival Fellowship was initiated to ensure that the IFF plays
host to meaningful and inclusive exchange that speaks to the most
immediate and important needs of its participants. *Today we have the
pleasure and honor of officially announcing the IFF Fellows cohort for
2017!*
Meet the 28 Internet Freedom Festival Fellows for 2017:

Fellows will work together to review and select sessions across the
entire Festival Program, to ensure that diverse viewpoints and voices
are well represented. The IFF Fellows for 2017 were selected from a pool
of over 300 candidates, and together represent 19 of the over 80
countries expected to participate at the IFF this March.
An outstanding professionals & community leaders, and a source of
inspiration for us in the IFF Team and many others, we now turn to them
to lead the way for each of the eight themes of the 2017 IFF. Let’s give
a huge, heartfelt congratulations to these awesome and inspiring folks!
***IFF Call for Proposals | Final Deadline: November 28th*****
IFF Fellows lead the design and curation of the IFF program, by
reviewing and selecting session proposals for each of the IFF Themes.
With our Fellows for 2017 now official, we’re happy to announce that the
final deadline for the IFF Call for Proposals is now November 28th, 2016.
Be sure to send in your session proposals now if you haven’t already:

Note: the final deadline of November 28th replacesthe previous early
deadline of October 2nd. However, we still encourage all to submit their
session and workshop ideas as soon as possible!
We’re looking forward to working with and supporting everybody - Fellows
and community members alike - over the next few months to build the most
engaging and diverse Internet Freedom Festival Program to date - stay
tuned for more updates, and see you all in March!
