behind the key question: 'what if the internet had been invented before
democracy?'. A series of interviews with world's most progressive

*Iran: The Road Ahead* September 21 (Amsterdam, Netherlands)

2016 marks the 10 year anniversary of Zamaneh Media. These 10 years have
seen major developments in Iran and in the region. Telling examples
include the Green Movement in 2009 and more recently the Iran Nuclear
Deal. But instead of looking back, Zamaneh wants to celebrate this
milestone with you all and look ahead into the future. Ahead at all the
opportunities as well as challenges that the next 10 years will bring
for Iran and the wider region. We have therefore developed a packed
event with music, art, cinema, food, stands and many exciting speakers,
panels and presentations.

*Latin American Digital Media Conference* October 19 - 20 (Mexico City,
Mexico)

Factual Mexico presents the 5th Latin American Digital Media Conference
held in Mexico City at the Centro Cultural de España on the 19th and
20th of October 2016.

Join journalists and editors from throughout the region to discuss the
latest topics in digital media including, viable business models, gender
and media coverage and reporting and ethics: the Panama Papers. This
year is our fifth anniversary and will be run in alliance with The
National Association of Hispanic Journalists and Chicas Poderosas. The
Digital Media Conference is supported by the Iberoamericana University,
el Centro de Investigación y Docencia Económicas (CIDE), Wayra México,
Distintas Latitudes, Social TIC and Google México.
