[Festival] Save the Date! IFF: 6 - 10 March

Dear all,

We are very excited to finally be able to share the dates for the third
edition of the Internet Freedom Festival!

*6th - 10th of March, 2017*

After two years of continuous growth, we will return to Valencia
(Spain), creating a positive and inclusive space for hands-on
multidisciplinary collaboration.

The 2016 IFF brought together over 700 activists, human rights
defenders, journalists, developers, designers, researchers and others
(from which 36% were women and 6% gender fluid); coming from 74
different countries and collectively putting together a program
featuring almost 200 different sessions.

We have learned a lot from all of you, and we keep redesigning the IFF
to become a better platform for the Internet Freedom Community based on
your feedback. Some of our goals for 2017 are:

* Securing more resources to support underrepresented groups and
diversifying the voices present in current conversations
* Sparking a collective reflection on the present and future of the
Internet Freedom space
* Attracting new groups with critical skills, such as creatives,
strategists and communications professionals
* Capturing more learnings to be shared with the rest of the community
* Improving the design of spaces for positive, inclusive and productive
collaboration
