Hello Event Designers,

At the core of every event are sessions and facilitators. The Session Design Labs origins are from the coaching sessions we do for faciltiators and session organisers at events like RightsCon and the Mozilla Festival. Our two-day, hands-on Lab is a great way to sharpen training and facilitation skills. Folks have joined us from every corner of the world, so we’re hosting the Lab twice to suit different time zones.

Join us for The Session Design Lab on December 10th and 11th. Together, we’ll:
- Explore simple, practical ways to design sessions that include and engage everyone, online or in person.
- Dig into adult learning frameworks like ADIDS (Activity, Discussion, Input, Deepening, Synthesis).
- Design and peer-review your own session so you can put it straight into action.
- Build confidence, gather tools, and exchange ideas with others who care about creating meaningful spaces for learning and collaboration.

We’re also introducing a new pay-what-you-can model — making it easier for anyone in our community to take part, wherever they are.

All the details and registration info are here: https://www.fabriders.net/session-design-lab/

Got any questions or thoughts? We’d love to hear from you.
