Dear Network-Centric Resource Designers,

Thank you for an absolutely brilliant 2019. I really appreciate your
participation in the network. As you know (or may not) this project is a
self-funded labour of love. The ultimate goal of the project is to help
people understand how to approach building knowledge assets that share
ownership, enable contributions and support colloration in communities
and networks.

Designing a network-centric resource is really really hard, and a big
objective for the project was to be able to help designers understand
the path forward - so we had a major milestone accomplished at the
beginning of 2019 with the publication of th*e* *Lifecycle.

We also had online discussions this year with practitioners sharing
knowledge and lessons learned:

  * Sarah Allen on collaborating with 2000 people to create MozFest

  * Greg Bloom on using community organising techniques to build the
    Open Refferal data standard

  * Mor Rubinstein on developing a co-creating a governance model for
    Open Heroines

  * Gunner on Aspiration's work providing, supporting and developing
    Facilitative Leadership

We also had an online discussion that pooled the collective knowledge of
the network on how to effectivelyManage User Feedback

We will be starting 2020 with an online discussion on Sustaining
Network-Centric Resources on January 14th at 15:00 GMT. Please email me
if you are interested in being an anchor to lead a small group
discussion on that. If you would just like to participate, you can RSVP
to get details.

This is an incredibly rich and rewarding project. I am grateful for
Aspiration's ongoing partnership and guidance. But I can't thank you
enough for being part of it. I hope you will continue to participate and
contribute next year. If you have any major challenges you'd like to
address in an online discusssion OR a one on one with me, please get in
touch.

Happy Holidays,

Dirk
