[DATAGOV Core] Kick-off: artistic/performative proposal

Hey everyone,
Last but not least, Stefania raised some good points about my
artists/performers proposal. I'm going to answer point by point below:
*
Donatella came to Amsterdam with I believe the same performance on
November 15. I wonder whether we could find someone who is “newer”
to the scene -/-> agree 100%; maybe we can think of a collaboration
with Donatella for the mid-term Datagov event; /
*
Launch of the Living Lab, yeah, would be a great plan, but we have
to have plans. I know Federico is working on something mysterious.
Let’s talk in the new year /--> yes, Federico, Matteo and I were
talking about this last week; Federico has something super cool in
mind (I'll leave the floor to him to explain it better), but
basically his idea is to use small devices that connect when in
proximity, activating the lab; so the people that hold the devices,
coming together, would give life to the lab; /
*
SETUP: yes but we need to talk to them first and find out how to
meet mid-way/--> considering Federico's super cool idea, the living
lab would no longer be a physical space (as I had imagined it) with
weekly activities, but a socio-technical assemblage in itself :) and
in this sense, maybe the collaboration with SETUP could be more
fruitful for the final Datagov event (maybe our own interactive
museum, with much more "substance" at that point!) /
*
I would generally like a tighter link with the topic of the project,
but yeah, that’s a tough one. /--> yes this is the toughest, also
because of the next point - which means less resources to fly
artists from afar, etc - but not only that; I'm going to activate
some more networks and see who I can find, but if you have
suggestions please add to the newly added "Artists&performers" sheet
in our Cryptpad :) /
*
I am afraid budget is limited. We can get something more from GCD
(maybe) and ASCA (1K), but we also have to be realistic since we
must pay artists /--> noted down! /
Best,
Giulia
