Dear friends and colleagues
estimad at s amig at s y colegas
queridos amigos e colegas
it is about time to resume the conversation we started in Cartagena / tenemos que continuar la conversación que comenzamos en Cartagena / temos que continuar a conversa que começamos en Cartagena.
Finally, the promised ‘Big Data from the South' BLOG is up and running: https://data-activism.net/big-data-from-the-south/ <https://data-activism.net/big-data-from-the-south/>. We (=all of us!) now have to populate it.
We also just published the inaugural blog post by Emiliano and myself: https://data-activism.net/2017/10/bigdatasur/ <https://data-activism.net/2017/10/bigdatasur/>
La versión en español (traducida por Miren Gutierrez y revisada pr Emiliano yAlejandro Barranquero - muchas gracias a todo at s) esta aqui: https://data-activism.net/2017/10/desde-el-sur/
Please share, comment and react using the hashtag #bigdatasur
NOW WE NEED YOUR POSTS!
AHORA NECESITAMOS TUS BLOG POSTS!
The next post to go live will be Anna Berti Suman’s post. Next it can be you!
Please consider writing something: there was so much excitement in Cartagena, we hope our slow start has not made you forget about it all.
You can write in ANY language as far as you provide also a short summary in English / Puede escribir en CUALQUIER idioma en la medida en que proporcione también un breve resumen en inglés.
We are looking for rebuttals, provocations, cases, examples, reflections on concepts, and whatever else seems fit.
‘Big Data from the South’ is what we make of it. In other words, we are the conversation, and it is a pretty urgent conversation, too! Let’s make it happen.
Ciao! emiliano y stefania
PS. perdone el español-stefania
