+1 to this as general policy.

Perhaps increasing the urgency for a clear, objective process for selecting
the ombudsteam... my wife, Daria Asmolova, who some of you may remember
from the first BigBang workshop in 2016, has just now also volunteered.

It occurs to me, incidentally, that this may be in a small sense a historic
role: the first ombudsteam for an open source software project. Definitely
at least worthy of a blog post.
