Hi Everyone,

We’re getting ready for the trials coming up next week and now have the draft play up on the website - you can find it at: https://collectivepower.net/starter-advocacy-strategy-play/

A huge thanks to Jennifer Miller for templating and editing the ’stakeholder mapping’ exercise for the playbook, as well as suggesting a new title: ’Starter Advocacy Strategy Play’.

Please come to the upcoming trials of this play next week. We will conduct two trials of this exercise to accommodate our diversity of time zones. During the trial, you’ll have the opportunity to experience what it’s like to participate in the exercise and provide feedback on how it’s represented in the playbook to ensure its usefulness.

The first trial will take place on May 14th at 3pm UTC (Check your time zone <https://www.timeanddate.com/worldclock/fixedtime.html?msg=The+Collective+Power+Playbook:+Stakeholder+Mapping+&+Power+Analysis&iso=20250514T15&p1=1440&ah=1&am=30>) - please register here: https://us06web.zoom.us/meeting/register/avDU6dD5T4SEIgob1LfuzA
The second trail will take place on May 15th at 10am UTC (Check your time zone <https://www.timeanddate.com/worldclock/fixedtime.html?msg=The+Collective+Power+Playbook:+Stakeholder+Mapping+&+Power+Analysis+Play+Trial+(a)&iso=20250515T10&p1=1440&ah=1&am=30>) - please register here: https://us06web.zoom.us/meeting/register/ifnpNve5S5eM1d9z8plMWw

If you have any comments or feedback on the play, you can use the google doc found here: https://docs.google.com/document/d/1JByU-AMKImmKuOIUeYTMGpko-QqPj2baCkGuN72ZdWo/edit?tab=t.0#heading=h.s3vwhkyhb0zg

Hope to see you next week.

- dirk
