Hi all, hope everyone is staying healthy and well amidst all the crazy
going on.

I wanted to share an experimental project with all of you that I've been
working on, recently launched to friends and family, called DailyVote
<https://www.dailyvote.co>, which is an attempt to put a civic tech spin on
participatory news sites like reddit, Hacker News, etc.

We did some early validation work to see if the concept might interest
folks who are activist-minded, and relatively plugged into the news — but
obviously, there can be a gap between concept and reality. Since everyone
here is activist-minded, and pretty plugged into what's going on in the
world, I wanted to invite you to check it out and see what you think.

I'd love any feedback you might have, critical, supportive, whatever comes
to mind. Feel free to reply privately or to the list, I'd love to discuss.
Obviously, it's not a TON to look at with a limited number of users, but
imagine that there are some. ;)

A bit more about the concept: https://www.dailyvote.co/about

(BTW you'll get a better feel for it if you create an account, but I
welcome feedback either way.)

Thank you!
Galen
