you think when you get US based app will do any better? banned US apps 
as well like facebook , twitter , Instagram , whatsapp...etc if we are 
afraid about the privacy of our youth.

Otherwise the data if its not stored in this spying country it will be 
stored in the other spying country because the model of these 
organizations give is data collection,personalization..etc.

To reduce this headache and solve some of it issues better use P2P free 
software video sharing and social media platforms:
