Hi Lt-ers,

Just wanted to share this announcement about N30 where people who were
active with Indymedia years ago are attempting to come up with an updated
list of tools / software for activists, and ways to report and disseminate
information safely and efficiently. We are looking for more interested
people and places around the world that might want to connect with us on

On November 30th, 2019 we'll be connecting many cities around the world --
both in-person, and remotely via chat, audio, and video -- in order to
experiment, discuss, and plan around the upcoming People's Climate Summit
in early December, which be occurring globally in parallel with The UN
Climate Change Conference ("COP25") in Madrid.

In-person gatherings will (likely) be occurring in Lisbon, Berlin,
Barcelona, Dublin, New Orleans, Cambridge (US), Glasgow ... and we're
adding others ...

Our initial thought for November 30th is to spend some time watching some
videos together (in-person screening, live remote chat to discuss and take
notes) on the history of internationally-coordinated media activism, and
use that as a jumping-off point for some live video and chat conversations
and presentations in which we share ideas for projects, tools,
interventions, and media experiments that might help coordinate and support
international climate activism.
