We ought to start with a de-facto of distrust with all and any corporations.
We've no reason to do otherwise.

This job placement is all too reminiscent of Google appointing an 'AI Ethics
Council' after they were caught working with the U.S DoD to write AI to help
drones kill people, AKA 'Project Maven'. Having experts/thinktanks in ethics on
the payroll presents an image of the given abuser taking it seriously, able to
allay public concerns with a performance of care. 

Social engineering, little more.
