Details below. I am an Extreme alum, and I completely agree with the
statement "you will join a very fun, collaborative, and dedicated teaching
team." The Extreme teaching team is absolutely amazing.
--------
The d.school course Design for Extreme Affordability
<https://extreme.stanford.edu/> is seeking to hire a new *Design Lecturer* to
join their teaching team! The lecturer will teach, mentor and support a
multi-disciplinary class of Stanford students working with social impact
organizations to identify and address real world problems relating to
poverty around the world. They will help students build their innovation
skills in design thinking, product and service design, and business
modelling.

This role is great for a designer or educator familiar with or expert in
the practical application of innovation methods to global poverty
alleviation. It is also an exciting opportunity for those that want to *teach
and inspire the next generation of social impact designers and
entrepreneurs.* Plus you will join a very fun, collaborative, and dedicated
teaching team.

Over the past 16 years the Design for Extreme Affordability course has
taught 605 students who have worked with 61 social impact organizations,
brought 150 projects to fruition in 32 countries, and changed 100M+ lives.
Past student projects have addressed problems in areas such as agriculture,
food, nutrition, health, power, shelter, education, and more
