[liberationtech] [Air-L] Fake News

Hi everyone,

I am seeing an interesting development of this debate. From the problem of
"what is true or fake" to a debate on online advertisement, financial
incentives and the effort content producers have to get eyeballs at all
cost. And also, of course, to the disruption of the sources that feed
"fake" news.

The first article I saw about it came from Morozov, on The Guardian:

I believe this debate is much more precise than debating what is fake, or
forcing online intermediaries to restrict access to certain kinds of
content. But it will certainly raises different problems.
