Jessa Lingel and I just published an article [http://firstmonday.org/ojs/index.php/fm/article/view/6172] today in First Monday, exploring online surveillance through the lens of incarceration. Specifically, we’re interested in seeing how imprisoned populations have historically mitigated and resisted institutional surveillance, and in applying those lessons to online surveilled populations.
