[liberationtech] EU Policy makers to visit Stanford

On May 19th, a European Parliament Science and Technology Options
Assessment (STOA) delegation will be coming to Stanford to visit our campus
and we, the European Association at Stanford, will be organizing an event
for this. This is a unique opportunity to meet and interact with the people
who make science and technology policy in the European Union.

STOA is chiefly responsible for assessing technologies for the future and
in recommending them to EU policy makers. Engaging with these folks would
be fascinating for anyone interested in European tech, the ethics of
technology and the future of technology policy.

If any of this sounds interesting, please let me know. We'd love for you to
get involved!
