As a part of the Program on Liberation Technology, I have been working
on a large project in India that we call Combating Corruption with
Mobile Phones. My engineers from India will be in the Bay Area this
month and we are hoping to bring together a set of coders to help us
with our project. It would be great if we can have a small team of
volunteers to work with us for a few days for a few critical projects:

MISSED CALL APPLICATION
Objective : An application which would record the missed calls
information to the remote mysql Database.
Description: The application should do the following
Record all instances of missed call, with call details such as
calling number, time of call.
Store this information locally either in database or files.
Synchronize the information to mysql server when the internet is available.
Once the Synchronization is done, the local information can be deleted

OFF LINE SURVEY FORMS
Objective : An application which could fill out survey forms, and
record the responses to mysql database.
Description: The application should do the following
Like good Forms, ability to create and fill forms. (Form creation can
be done on computer and need not be part of mobile app).
Store the responses locally on the device.
Synchronize the responses to mysql server when the internet is available.
Once the Synchronization is done, the local information can be deleted

AJAX BASED DRAG AND DROP INTERFACE FOR REPORT GENERATION
Objective : An application which could fill out survey forms, and
record the responses to mysql database.
Description: The application should do the following
Like good Forms, ability to create and fill forms. (Form creation can
be done on computer and need not be part of mobile app).
Store the responses locally on the device.
Synchronize the responses to mysql server when the internet is available.
Once the Synchronization is done, the local information can be deleted

Do you think that we could find some folks through CS+Social good for
this? We could organize a hackathon or just have a meeting with the
volunteers who can work a few hours a week this month. Let me know
how this might work.

Thank you,

Warm regards,

Vivek
