Dear Liberation Tech Colleagues,
(Putting on my "consultant to Annkissam" hat.)
First of all, if you are unclear about what people mean when they talk
about knowledge management, I want to assure you that you are in the
majority! This web page explains the concept in a very practical way:*

Secondly, I want to let you know that I recently had the great pleasure of
doing a "bloggerview" with Beth Babcock, the president and CEO of
Crittenton Women's Union (CWU), a Boston-based charitable organization
dedicated to creating new pathways to economic independence for low-income
women and their families.
As a long time admirer of CWU's leadership in outcomes management and
continuous organizational learning, I was thrilled when Beth agreed to be
interviewed about her agency's challenges and best practices in knowledge
management.
Please check out the bloggerview:

Beth is very candid responses have a lot to teach us about the commitment
it takes to share knowledge effectively in a nonprofit organization, and
about where the pitfalls may be located. I also think that she does a
great job of showing how knowledge management is an investment in a
nonprofit organization's long term sustainability and mission success.
What are your thoughts about it?
Best regards from Deborah
* Of course, I helped to write the document from which that explanation is
excerpted, so you need to factor in the inherent bias in my assertion that
this page is helpful. :-)
