hey ya’ll, I have a similar project that is in closed alpha called webxray that does something similar to trackography. my technique of leveraging phantomjs to capture http requests is the same - I spent a long time looking at solutions and it is by far the best method I could come up with and in the past few months I’ve seen other projects have independently figured this out (great minds and whatnot). so without getting into specifics I can say trackography’s solution is the most elegant available imho.
I have scant details of my project on this site, but the general idea of webxray is to do fairly large analyses fairly fast. I’ll have some publications/research forthcoming which will detail it more. if you would like to be in the alpha ping me off-list: http://webxray.org/
otherwise, I was really happy to see trackography using phantomjs and I think it’s a great project - looking forward to seeing more!
