Applied Cybersecurity is a new Stanford group focused on teaching students
practical skills in exploiting and protecting systems. We will be holding
weekly interactive sessions throughout the year that demonstrate how to
perform security exploits such as password cracking and packet sniffing, as
well as providing overviews and discussions across modern security topics
such as the dark web, bitcoin, and data privacy.
We would like to invite you to attend our open session on Thursday December
3rd from 4:30-6pm. During our session we will give an overview of our group
and provide a short demo showing you how to use Google’s search engine to
reveal website vulnerabilities.
Hope to see you there!
