[liberationtech] a big Privacy Violation in Tango App

Hi,

Tango APP is very popular in the world and in Iran more than 2million users
are using It right now! by the way,

if you are using Tango app ok no problem, but if you not register your
number in Tango yet, YES, THERE IS SOME PROBLEM!

Download the latest Tango software for windows, Insert your mobile phone
number. if> your mobile phone already activated in another device, tango
will send you a verify code. BUT if> your number is not in Tango  DB ,
Tango without sending any code to your phone, will activated your tango.

what's happened next?

all of your contacts which have your number inside their phones can see YOU
ARE USING TANGO NOW! and you can see the list of bunch of people with name
last name and.. in your Tango, but that user is not you. That user maybe me
or another person and then because you can see the name and last name of
persons, pictures and other updates you can do anything with them( which is
wrong but for clear understanding ).
