Agreed. (disclaimer: I haven't looked at gazadeaths.com yet)
Media organizations have been reporting numbers of strikes and rough numbers
on interceptions/non-interceptions, but I don't have a specific source
off-hand.
One source is the IDF for some statistics on the Israeli side.
A good source for statistics on the Palestinian side is probably the UNOCHA
OPT report being released every day at 1500 EEST. The latest is at
http://www.ochaopt.org/documents/ocha_opt_sitrep_15_07_2014.pdf (see root of
site for index) and the filenames I believe have been consistent.
The focus of that report is on humanitarian needs and response to needs, but
includes the following counts in one table:
- Total no. Killed
- Min. no. of civilians killed
- Min. no. of children killed
- Total no. Injured
- No. of children injured
- No. of women injured
- Total no. of Homes destroyed or damaged
- Total no. of people Displaced that are hosted at UNRWA schools
(number displaced to other locations estimated in the text)
- Total no. of people at risk of losing Water Supply
This report does briefly summarize the situation in Israel as well, but does
not give names or numbers. It characterizes the Israeli situation in
general such as in a paragraph that reads "Indiscriminate rocket firing by
armed groups in Gaza at Israeli localities also continued during the past 24
hours, resulting in few Israeli injuries and some damage to property, as
most projectiles fell in open areas or were intercepted by the Iron Dome
system. While Palestinian rocket fire has so far not resulted in Israeli
deaths, multiple reports about the launching of these rockets from densely
populated areas have raised increasing concern. Such practice severely
endangers the lives of Palestinian civilians residing in these areas, in
addition to the Israeli civilians targeted."
There are additional statistics throughout the report as well.
