You've pretty much misunderstood users here!
The URL users are complaining about is the orbot dl-link not browsing
over Tor.

I understand Tor is slower than normal connection. I've been a Tor user
inside Iran after all. And yes, it's not dead-easy, but when no other
fairly-safe option is available, I rather to help users understand and
use Tor instead of other sketchy tools.
And for the record, with some patience you can still load a video on
youtube (I've just confirmed this over a 128kb/s connection on my box
inside .ir).

Again, I believe with more education we can make this arm-race easier
for us and harder for .ir gov.

It can also buy us more time to understand the needs and develop more tools.
