Hi Libtech!
The US Agency for International Development's (USAID) Broad Agency
Agreement (BAA) seeks opportunities to co-create, co-design, co-invest, and
collaborate in basic and applied research and development for Science,
Technology, Innovation, and Partnership (STIP). USAID invites organizations
and companies to participate with USAID in response to a Critical
Development Challenge Addendum issued under this BAA to provide innovations
and technologies that further USAID's development goal of dramatically
improving or saving the lives of over 200 million people over the next five
years.
We are are excited to announce the newest Addendum under the BAA:* Civil
Society İnnovation*.
Through the Civil Society İnnovation program, USAID seeks *partners*
(donors, private sector, non-profit, networks, academia, technologists,
etc.) to co-create programming around new and established approaches to
innovatively promote, strengthen, and connect Civil Society Organizations
(CSOs) - of all types - through fostering systems where groups can access
techniques, tools, technologies, and themselves to address their most
pressing issues.
The Civil Society İnnovation program forms part of a wider partnership
between USAID and the Swedish International Development Cooperation Agency
(Sida) focused on innovation, partnerships, and innovative financing
mechanisms to source game-changing innovations with the potential to solve
long-standing development challenges.
